Dear Class,

Welcome to our new blog which will be our meeting ground for sharing, viewing and discussing your work created during the Mod 3 '07, Introduction to Digital Photography course. Here we will post work created for each assignment. As part of the process, I'd like other students in the course to comment, share ideas and ask questions. Using free Picassa software from Google, you can organize, edit, publish, email and print all of your digital images. Step by step tutorials that I have posted will get you up to speed in no time.

I have found that using Picasa is the best way to get you moving at the fastest possible pace in this online format. Photoshop is expensive ($280 for the student version) and difficult to learn at first. This keeps the focus on your photography and shooting without being encumbered by the difficulty of the learning curve using photoshop. Click the link on the left to view some video tutorials I created to teach you some of the basics of using Picasa.
