This beautiful red rose is real and was scanned with the scanner door open.
This lovely bouquet of flowers is not real... Again I scanned with the door open.
I love the way the flowers look when they are scanned with the door open... It gives them more depth. They seem to pop out at you.
I enjoyed doing this project.

Good, Mary. The black background does push the flower forms forward. Try a scan where you select a small area of the rose from the center of it.... Make sure the resolution is up enough to allow for a decent size file
